Underground dining concept Private Dining Room will team up with Messer restaurant in Fitzroy to host a series of dinners curated by some of Australia’s top chefs.
Each week will feature a collaborative five-course menu with paired beverages from a chef, pastry chef and sommelier or winemaker team.
Chef Paul Farag from Josh Niland’s Fish Butchery in Sydney, The Summertown Artologist’s Brianna Smith and Penny Hill Winery’s Chris Chilvers from South Australia will all host a takeover.
Melburnian participants include winemakers Jasmine Wakely (Le Timbre Wines) and Brodie Comer (Yugen Wines), pastry chefs Kay-Lene Tan (Tonka) and Eigin Ting (L’Hotel Gitan), as well as members of the Messer home team.
“We’re aiming to promote collaboration and stimulate creativity within our industry, and very excited to see what each team puts on the table,” says Tim O’Donnell, Private Dining Room founder and sommelier.
Held on each Monday in August, tickets are available for $150, which includes five courses with matching wines.
