Australian diners are increasingly developing a taste for the finer things in life, especially when it comes to bread.

Burgers are no longer just a meat patty, slice of cheese and a seeded bun. Sandwiches are no longer a simple filling squished between slices of loaf bread. Chefs are experimenting with just about any ingredient and breads are no exception.

Despite low-carb diet trends, annualised bread volume growth exceeded 2.3% last year (Ibis World), fuelled largely by artisan and rustic offers, including sourdoughs, Ciabatta and Turkish. However, in-house baking of artsian breads in line with consumer taste trends can prove problematic for time poor, busy kitchens.

To ensure every chef has access to a range of breads that are similar in quality to the meals they plate up, but are also easy to thaw and bake, Tip Top Foodservice have launched the new Speedibake range of breads.

Speedibake breads offer great convenience and preparation efficiencies for busy kitchens, and can be thawed and served immediately or flash-baked for only minutes to achieve a just-baked aroma.

The range has been created in line with bakery consumer demand trends for more sophisticated baked products and consists of two styles of bread –Rustic and Classic.

Included in the range are dinner rolls available in white, brown, multigrain, slider and Kaiser options, as well as rustic sourdough, rye, Turkish and ciabatta.

Lunch roll offerings include baguettes and sandwich subs in white, brown and multigrain as well as panini, sourdough, Turkish and ciabatta rolls or gourmet hamburger buns.

Finally, a range of batards, French sticks, Vienna and cobbs are available for sharing along with rustic stonebaked sourdoughs, Turkish pide, ciabatta and Pane di Casa loaves.

Available nationally via foodservice distributors, the new range of convenient Speedibake products are HACCP certified and offers a complete solution to foodservice bakery needs.
