Pizzeria Violetta and Sichuan Bang Bang restaurants have announced the appointment of new group general manager, David Wang.
Wang will oversee all six venues in Brisbane, utilising his 16 years of industry experience across the country to help drive the group's expansion.
Wang has worked as a restaurant and service manager across multiple venues including Rain Restaurant (Toronto), Shangri-la Pudong (Shanghai) and the Glamour Bar (Shanghai), where he first met Renata Roberts, owner of Pizzeria Violetta and Sichuan Bang Bang. Wang re-launched the Glamour Bar as M Glam in 2015 before relocating to Brisbane.
“David’s impressive international work and diverse experience across both Western and Chinese venues makes him the ideal candidate to manage the Pizzeria Violetta and Sichuan Bang Bang restaurants. With our plans to expand, David’s input will be essential to our success moving forward,” Roberts said.
