Chefs Monty and Jaci Koludrovic have announced their next move after leaving Icebergs last year.
While it was rumoured Byron Bay would be the location of choice for their next venture, the pair have confirmed to Delicious they will open a restaurant in Los Angeles.
Located in a former recording studio, the venue will pay homage to the former occupant by keeping the name Grandmaster Recorders.
Diners can look forward to a hybrid Italian-Australian restaurant with a newly fitted out dining room and a 300-seat rooftop bar.
“It’s important to us that the food at Grandmaster Recorders represents our location as much as it represents the rich history of Italian food,” Koludrovic told Delicious.
“We don’t like being too bound by tradition, we like making food that is delicious and fun.”
Grandmaster Records is the latest venue from The Botanical Group, which also runs E.P & L.P, the former home of Aussie chef Louis Tikaram (before he returned to Aussie shores).
Monty has also teased the launch of the squish burger in LA on Instagram.
No official opening date just yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
