David Beckham surprised a Marrickville coffee shop when he rocked up 30 minutes before closing last week.
Coffee Alchemy is well-known as one of Sydney’s top coffee spots, and Beckham obviously thought the same when he visited the store with his son Romeo.
The celebrity told the café he heard the coffee was great and wanted to try it for himself.
“He was very down to earth, very pleasant, he wasn’t rude,” café manager Kelsey Kobelka told the The Daily Telegraph.
“People have been asking what he ordered; someone even asked to buy his takeaway cup.”
For the record, Beckham ordered an extra hot latte and an iced batch brew for wife Victoria.
“They ended up getting an extra latte, because he really liked it.”
Beckham also shared snaps of his time at the store with his 51.7 million Instagram followers, which is some of the best free marketing a venue can get.
