After four years, the Gelinaz! Shuffle returns on 3 December, with chefs across the globe getting involved.
DomoSophism will see 148 chefs from 138 restaurants cook simultaneously for 700 hours.
So how does it work? Restaurants are partnered up with another venue by ballot. Each participant receives eight new recipes and a list of ingredients, but the identities of all parties remain unknown until the event.
Chefs are encouraged to reinterpret the recipes they are given and put their own twist on dishes to create new concepts during the one-off dinners held on 3 December across the globe.
Restaurants including Australia’s Brae, Saint Peter, Boon Cafe, Momofuku Seiobo, Orana, Lee Ho Fook, IDES, Oakridge and Lankan Filling Station will participate with the word’s top chefs including Rene Redzepi, Massimo Bottura, Monique Fiso, Sean Brock, Garima Arora and more.
