Sydney Spirits Festival has announced the line-up for its inaugural event this 10-12 May.

Held at the Overseas Passenger Terminal in Sydney Cove, the festival is set to welcome 148 spirit brands across whisk(e)y, gin, soju, schnapps, rum, agave, vodka, vermouth, grappa, tequila, liqueurs, fortified wines, and more.

The three-day festival will include stalls and free tastings from some of the country’s top producers, along with a schedule of masterclasses with international brands such as Buffalo Trace Distillery.

Closer to home, Tasmanian whisky icon Bill Lark will be hosting two masterclasses across the festival; Hickson House’s Mike Enright will be pouring the brand’s tipples; and Ester Spirits will be taking a deep-dive into the creation of the negroni.

The program also includes a Gins of the World masterclass with Monkey 47, Kinobi Gin, and Malfy Gin and a session on Bumbu rums with Sovereign Brands’ Justin Strzadala.

Guests can also expect a line-up of food and spirit tastings such as Sydney oysters and Taylor & Smith tipples and Schibello coffee with brandy and rum canneloni.

There will also be a range of food stalls from local restaurants and food trucks.

Bottles can also be purchased for takeaway from each stall across the festival.

Sydney Spirits Festival will be held on 10-12 May at the Overseas Passengers Terminal in Sydney Cove.
