Seven Miles specialty coffee roastery has secured a spot in the soon-to-open Craft’d Grounds precinct in Brisbane.

After operating out of Brisbane’s Newstead, Seven Miles has decided to expand and base their flagship venue in the new development.

“Joining the Craft’d Grounds community with nine other likeminded artisan producers will be an incredibly special, collaborative experience,” says Seven Miles Operations Manager Ben Graham.

“From the ceiling-high glass walls, open seating plan, our dedicated training spaces for masterclasses and public cuppings and barista-art competitions, it’ll be a lively, immersive and fully transparent experience.”

The new location will offer the brand’s selection of coffee roasts including the more delicate blend Cat’s Pyjamas along with crowd favourites Wilde and Cultiver.

Craft’d Grounds Co-Founder James Renell says the roastery is an ideal match for the dining destination, which will open in the coming weeks.

“It fits in with our ambition to create something for Brisbane that’s humble and gives an appreciation and experience of everything handcrafted including coffee, beer and modern comfort food,” he says.

Craft’d Grounds is due to open in October alongside a craft brewery, restaurant, fromagerie and patisserie and a farmers market.
