De Costi is a name synonymous with seafood, as is GetFish, the delivery business next-gen fishmonger Antonio Muollo launched in 2018 which sees produce from the Sydney Fish Markets delivered directly to consumers.

Now, the entrepreneur has opened GetSashimi in Bondi Beach, the city’s first sashimi-centric fast casual venue.

“The launch of GetSashimi has long been a dream of mine to bring a healthy offering and finding the best-possible spot in Bondi Beach has brought this dream to a reality,” says Muollo.

“Fresh sashimi has grown in popularity as a healthy protein option, and I am really excited to be bringing this experience and produce to the Sydney customers in a fast and convenient fashion.”

The venue has been fitted out with a sushi train with room for 18 diners, with chefs working in front of guests to prepare everything from sashimi to sushi, hand rolls, poke bowls, and oysters.

There’s a vast array of seafood on offer spanning Hiramasa kingfish, Paradise prawns, unagi, toothfish, John Dory, octopus, abalone, scampi, and surf clams, to name a few.

Takeaway is also available for patrons looking to takeaway, with diners able to choose options from an 8m display.

GetSashimi is open seven days from 11am until 9pm.
