Drew Hamilton has joined the team at Oakridge, taking over as restaurant manager. Hamilton will work alongside chefs Matt Stone and Jo Barrett to guide guests through the Oakridge experience, emphasising the restaurant and winery’s commitment to nourishing the soil, the local community and the relationship with guests.
Born in Sweden, Hamilton split his youth between Australia and Sweden, before traveling and working in the US, where he begun his hospitality career as a busboy in Seattle. He has since work across three continents, with stints in countries such as Fiji and the Maldives.
After settling permanently in Australia in 2000, Hamilton worked with Aaron Turner at Loam and IGNI.
