Atlas Dining’s Charlie Carrington has opened Little Havana in Melbourne’s Prahran.
Guests can expect a range of Cuban sandwiches with crispy Cuban-style rolls and house-cured meats crafted using a unique pressing technique.
Some of the highlights include the Cuban Sandwich with roasted pork, mustard, pickles, and swiss cheese; the mushroom Cuban sandwich with capsicum, spinach, mustard, pickles, and swiss cheese; plus a croquette Cuban sandwich with roasted pork and house-made ham.
The menu also features a range of salads and free add-ons for the sandwiches.
“At Little Havana, we’ve harmonised the amalgamation of flavour profiles I encountered in every sandwich, with the contemporary Art Deco architectural designs restaurateurs are currently obsessing over,” says Carrington.
“It’s with great pleasure that I introduce traditional Cuban Sandwiches to Melbourne’s expanding repertoire of sandwich stops. In my perspective, the authentic Cubano is thoroughly deserving of the title: ‘Best in the World’.”
Little Havana is currently open daily from 11am, but is expected to announce dinner service in the near future.
The space can also be booked for functions and private events.
Little Havana is located at 99 High Street, Prahran.
