Geelong’s Furphy Refreshing Ale is now available in cans.
Launched in 2014, Furphy Refreshing Ale is brewed using only Victorian ingredients sourced from local regions such as Wimmera and Eurobin and is brewed at Little Creatures Geelong Brewery.
Initially only made available to Geelong and the surrounding areas, the beer is now available throughout the Victorian region.
Head brewer, Warren Pawsey, said “We are very proud of this beer and the support we have had from local drinkers and beer lovers right across Victoria. We can’t wait to give them new ways and opportunities to enjoy Furphy.”
Initial inspiration for Furphy Refreshing Ale started with an old style Ferman ale, Kolsh. The end result is a clean, crisp beer with subtle fruity flavours and aromas. Deep gold in colour and slightly hazy, there is a soft maltiness balanced with subdued hop flavours.
Furphy Refreshing Ale is currently available in bottles and on tap across Victoria, and cans hit bottle shops in late April.
