The Sydney-based hospitality group has announced a food and beverage partnership with Urbnsurf Sydney.

Set to open in autumn 2024, Urbnsurf Sydney will be the first surf park in the state, and the second in the country following the initial Melbourne venue.

Located at Sydney Olympic Park, Urbnsurf Sydney will host a large events space which will cater up to 2000 guests.

As part of the team-up, Applejack Hospitality will operate a range of casual, and high-end food and beverage venues across the site.

Some of the planned offerings include an upper-level, premium dining venue with rooftop terrace, along with a waterfront cafe and kiosk on the ground floor.

“We’re diving headfirst into a new market with our biggest multi-site precinct to date, joining forces with fellow trailblazers who share our passion for pushing boundaries,” says Applejack Hospitality’s Ben Carroll.

“We will deliver our signature Applejack style of food and drinks in an incredible space to complement the epic Urbnsurf lifestyle.”

Urbnsurf Sydney is expected to welcome over 1000 guests daily across the surf academy, cabanas, 20 metre leisure pool and 8 metre kids pool, playground, surf-skate park, retail store, and health and wellness studio.

“We know that our members and guests are going to feel like they’ve got everything they need from any of the Applejack offerings on site,” says Urbnsurf CEO Damon Tudor.

“Whether it be a grab-and-go breakfast after a morning surf, or a few drinks overlooking friends tearing it up during their surf sessions, there will be something for everyone.”
