Gin and vodka distillery Warehouse 25 will open its doors in Milton, Brisbane on Saturday 7 November.

Encompassing 436sqm, the inner city venue will include a distillery as well as a casual bar and pizzeria, over multiple spaces including an indoor and outdoor area, mezzanine and underground function room.

The open distillery, complete with 100 litre vodka still and 50 litre gin still, will be on display in the main indoor area.

The first venue from owner Cameron Lee, Warehouse 25 is set offer a relaxed atmosphere for guests to enjoy drinks and food or host events. Lee spent the COVID-19 lockdown working with friends to get the fitout in place, with a bottleshop still in the works. Spirits distilled at Warehouse 25 will be sold under the label Calm Spirits Co

The casual menu will feature fresh snacks and share plates such caprese salad; pumpkin and risotto insalada; and burnt broccoli and mushroom arancini balls. Nine pizza options, including classics such as margherita (sugo, fior di latte & fresh basil) and capricciosa (sugo, mozzarella, olives, artichoke, mushroom & ham), will be on offer too.

The drinks list is simple, featuring a range of Australian wines, tap beers, cans and cocktails made from their Calm Spirits Co label.

With DJs, neo soul bands and live performances on the cards, the venue also plans to host block parties, art exhibitions and vintage garage sales in the future.

Warehouse 25 will be open seven days a week; Monday to Wednesday will see a lunch service in full swing, while dinner will be dished up Thursday to Sunday.
