Zeus Street Greek is preparing to open its latest site in Sydney’s Surry Hills on 18 May.

Zeus Surry Hills will be located at 69-81 Foveaux Street and will be the brand’s ninth store in Sydney and 14th in Australia.

The menu includes chicken, pork and lamb from the souvla cooked traditionally on long skewers over hot charcoal; wrapped in pita bread with tomato, tzatziki, onion, paprika and chips. The full range of pitas from Zeus’ recently launched menu will be accompanied by Spartan Boxes, sides, salads and sweets.

“Foveaux Street is one of Sydney’s most iconic. When the opportunity arose to bring Zeus to such a vibrant Surry Hills hot spot, we jumped at the chance,” said co-founder of Zeus, Costa Anastasiadis.

“The food scene in the area is so well established, we’re surrounded by awesome operators and are stoked to be adding our brand of Greek street food to the mix,” he added.

To celebrate the new opening Zeus Surry Hills will be hosting an I LOVE FREE SOUVLA Community Lunch on 26 May, with $2 from each donated to local charity partner, Weave Community & Youth Services. Weave supports children, young people, and families as they navigate through difficult circumstances and provide access to opportunities that help break the cycle of disadvantage and empower people to change their lives.

Earlier this month, Zeus launched its first site in Western Australia, and in February it entered the Canberra market
