Not-for-profit organisation Women in Hospitality (WOHO) has announced it is partnering with Pink Boots Society Australia (PBSA) for the upcoming intake of its renowned Mentor Program, slated to launch in January 2024.

The partnership is rooted in a shared commitment to break down barriers, open doors, empower and uplift women and non-binary people into excelling and leading in the hospitality sector. It also underscores WOHO and PBSA’s shared vision of fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where women and non-binary people can thrive, regardless of their career stage or specialisation within the industry.

Zana Pascall, a mentee from the 2022 intake, is enthusiastic in her support for the mentor program and being a part of it.

“I would highly recommend getting involved with the WOHO Mentor Program,” Pascall said.

“I was paired with Mary-Anne Stupart from Republic of Fremantle, and she was an absolute powerhouse to be paired with. Having someone who worked in a separate area of hospitality to me gave my experience a fresh set of eyes and new perspective on things that I wanted support or clarity on.

“The program is such a beautiful way to connect with other women in the industry and feel supported in your journey.”

As the next intake of the WOHO and Pink Boots Mentor Program approaches, applications are now open to women and non-binary people across the hospitality industry who are seeking mentorship, guidance, and the opportunity to network with industry leaders.

All applications received will be considered for the program that aims to inspire, educate, and propel women and non-binary people to greater heights in their hospitality careers.
