Women in Hospitality have announced a new series of round table discussions covering everything from immigration laws to what it means to be a female bartender.
The series will kick off on 5 November at Bloodwood in Newtown, where chef and owner Clare Van Vuuren will lead the discussion. Bartenders Jemima MacDonald and Elle Charalamb from Earl’s Juke Joint will also share advice and speak about their experiences during a banquet-style meal.
Ormeggio Group’s Anna Pavoni will host a share-style feast at Via Alta in Willoughby with Raul Senise, a migration agent from Andrew Burger and Associates.
“We are so lucky to have Raul to talk through the complicated changes of immigration laws in Australia, in relation to hospitality,” says Pavoni.
“The event is really about starting a discussion for business owners, office managers and recruiters. It’s a great opportunity to ask honest and open questions to both Raul and industry colleagues.”
Tickets to Bloodwood & Bartender are $75. Book at info@bloodwoodnewtown.com or call 02 9957 7699.
Tickets to Via Alta are priced at $50 for members and $75 for non-members. Book at info@viaalta.com.au or call 02 9958 1110
