Women in Hospitality host autumn cookout

Women in Hospitality will host an autumn cookout on 18 March at Porteño Events in Surry Hills, Sydney.

The organisation has partnered with PorkStars and will feature an all-female line-up of chefs, butchers, farmers, brewers and distillers.

Alex Herbert and Claire van Vuuren will team up to create a medieval barbecue and sausage queen Chrissy Flanagan will create gourmet pork sausages.

Charcuterie is courtesy of Nomad’s Jacqui Challinor and plates will be from Julianne Lever. Dessert will be made by Saint Peter’s Alanna Sapwell.

Sam Fuss from Marrickville’s Philter brewery and Kathleen Davies from Nip of Courage will be slinging drinks from a female-only cast of brewers and distillers.

Tickets are $25 for WOHO members and $35 for non-members, inclusive of all food and beverages.
