Gordon and Heston struck by scammers

Both Gordon Ramsay and Heston Blumenthal have been struck by scammers this week.

A number of online professionals scammed the ballot system for Blumenthal’s Fat Duck restaurant in Melbourne. Between the three groups of financial professionals, 800 applications were submitted resulting in over 50 confirmed bookings.

Over in London, Gordon Ramsay has announced the opening of his new restaurant was ‘sabotaged’ by fake bookings from a rival within the industry. Heddon Street Kitchen, located in Mayfair, had 140 bookings confirmed for the opening night last Saturday, however only 40 showed up.
