Din Tai Fung is expanding across Sydney, adding another two caf courts to its existing seven outlets.

The popular dumpling concept has four stand-alone restaurants across the city including World Square, Chatswood, Central Park and Miranda and three caf courts – Westfield Sydney, The Star and Greenwood Plaza.

The new caf courts will launch at Broadway Sydney on 18 August, and also at Gateway in Circular Quay (the exact opening date is yet to be announced).

Din Tai Fung has grown in popularity since launching eight years ago at its flagship World Square restaurant. Apart from the dumplings it’s renowned for, popular menu items include the braised beef soup with spinach, crispy fried chicken with chilli and drinks such as lychee mint and mango tango.

Australasian director of Din Tai Fung, Dendy Harjanto said "We are so pleased with the success of Din Tai Fung in Australia over the past eight years, and our continual expansion is very exciting. Sydneysiders have really embraced Din Tai Fung and we look forward to Broadway Sydney and Gateway introducing our dumplings and dishes to another new audience."
