Social enterprise Two Good Co. have opened their first-ever café in Yirranma Place located in Sydney’s Darlinghurst.

Launched in partnership with the Paul Ramsay foundation, the new venue is also home to the group’s concierge service, dubbed ‘Goodcierge’, which aims to help vulnerable women by placing them in front of house, kitchen and concierge roles.

The initiative is a part of the group’s flagship Work Work employment pathways program.

“Training, empowering, and employing vulnerable women is the reason we do what we do,” says Founder Rob Caslick.

“We see our partnership with the Paul Ramsay Foundation as a springboard to showcase this model to other organisations who want their office catering and café service to make a real difference.”

The new catering service is ideal for breakfast meetings as well as larger business events.

Options include salad trays, baguettes and wrap boxes, pastries and grazing boxes with dips and fruit.

The café’s breakfast and lunch menu showcases local artisans and seasonal produce from the likes of The Bread & Butter Project, Kua Coffee, Mood, T Totaler, Blak Cede and Messina.

Every month a new toastie, salad and baked good from other culinary figures will feature on the menu.

This July, Darren Robertson from Three Blue Ducks will serve up a cauliflower cheese toastie; an Italian sausage, pear, lentil, and watercress salad and chocolate cookies.

August specials will be curated by Belinda Jeffery and later, Matt Moran will cover September with his Croque Monsieur.
