That’s Amore Cheese will bring its dairy-centric event to Melbourne’s CBD this next month.

The two-day festival will be held over 21 and 22 August at fortyfivedownstairs on Flinders Lane.

There will be more than 65 cheeses on offer including burrata, washed rind, blue cheese, buffalo mozzarella and drunken Buffalo.

Maker & Monger’s Anthony Femia will be just one of the experts who will host a masterclass, with cheesemaker Helen Ritchie, wine judge Anthony Nania and That’s Amore Cheese’s Giorgio Linguanti also taking the ‘stage’.

Femia will teach guests how to make the perfect cheese platter, with Ritchie covering the production of blue and white mould cheese; Nania discussing Italian cheese and wine pairings and Linguanti running a mozzarella-making session.

Guests will receive a glass of wine on arrival and a mini cannolo at the end of each 2.15-hour session session.

Cheeses will be available to purchase along with a range of toasties.

Tickets can be purchased here.
