Three northwest Sydney hotels — The Australian Hotel & Brewery, Bella Vista Hotel and Hillside Hotel — have unified under hospitality group Momento. To celebrate, the group have launched a new website that showcases the Hills District and a foundation that provides assistance and support to the local northwest community.
Momento is also set to expand with the launch of The Governor, a two-level hospitality venue in Macquarie Park in early 2018 and will open other new spaces throughout 2017 and 2018.
“Our philosophy has always been to treat customers the way you wanted to be treated. We want to help create lasting memories for The Hills by building environments that can be enjoyed by the whole family, and giving back to the community through generating new opportunities for the district,” says Momento CEO, Marcello Colosimo.
Momento will also launch the Hospitality Institute of NSW, a tertiary education facility focused on premier hospitality training and education. The aim is to not only offer education to those seeking career advancement in the Northwest but to anyone who wants to acquire the tools to maintain a healthy career in hospitality and provide premium experiences.
The Momento Foundation aims to provide assistance to young, underprivileged and in-need members of the northwest and has engaged in over 30 community initiatives to date. The Foundation actively donates to shelters and rehabilitation centres such as the Lisa Harnum Foundation, The Sanctuary and ONE80TC, in a bid to eradicate domestic violence and substance abuse. It also sponsors local and national charities such as RedKite, Cancer Council and Variety the Children’s Charity and supports the community in the fields of sport, education, and the environment.
“We hope that by actively giving back, we always maintain our position at the very heart of what inspires our hospitality ventures — the community,” says Colosimo.
The Governor, a new two-level premier hospitality venue in Macquarie Park, is set to open early 2018. The venue will include a stylish restaurant and bar perfect for long lunches and corporate hospitality, and an Asian-themed rooftop cocktail bar.
