Robina Town Centre’s newest development, The Kitchens, has opened, unveiling a $160 million marketplace comprising fresh food retailers, cafes, bars and restaurants.
Daniel West, curator of The Kitchens, said the launch of The Kitchens is a momentous occasion for Robina Town Centre as it celebrates its 20th anniversary.
“Today’s opening of The Kitchens is the culmination of our long term vision that recognises the pivotal role fresh food plays in our modern lives and, particularly, in our local community. The Kitchens is a place to celebrate fresh, local produce, but also an urban marketplace from which passionate providores, growers and suppliers can showcase, share and inspire.”
The Kitchens spans and offerings range from wood-fired pizzas and hand-made pasta, to traditional teppanyaki, Thai dishes, South American and Greek street food, and New York-style bagels.
The Kitchens comprises George Calombaris’ first concept outside of Melbourne, welcoming a Jimmy Grants outlet, alongside Trent Scarr’s Honeyeater Kitchen, James Brady’s Mr Pigs Bakehouse and Akira Takagi’s Muso Ramen Noodle & Gyoza Bar.
