The Star Sydney has unveiled a new venue located on the ground floor of the Astral Hotel.
G&Tea operates as a teahouse during the day and a gin bar at night. A range of teas are available including classic blends, Chinese teas, herbal teas and teas from TWG.
The venue will also offer Yellow Gold Tea Buds from TWG which is infused with 24-karat gold and priced at $120 a pot.
G&Tea transforms into a gin bar in the evening with drinks covering a green tea mojito, a tea tini with jing green apple hibiscus tea, Ink gin, vermouth and lemon peel and a passionfruit green tea whiskey.
Food will also be on offer, with the menu revolving around gourmet sandwiches such as gin-cured ocean trout with fennel, chives, finger lime and yuzu emulsion.
