The Tilbury Hotel, located in Sydney’s Woolloomooloo is boasting a fresh new look after undergoing its first makeover in 12 years.
Under the guidance of interior designers Luchietti Krelle, The Tilbury has undergone a series of changes including new lighting and furniture, new colour schemes and new outdoor courtyard seating.
The Whitehouse family, third generation publicans, have owned The Tilbury Hotel for over 16 years.
“We wanted to give people a more relaxed experience when visiting the hotel, both in the restaurant and bars, without jeopardising the already simple classic style The Tilbury possesses,” said Scott Whitehouse, general manager of Whitehouse Properties.
Head chef James Wallis took over the kitchen in May 2015 and has created a new wine list and Summer Grill menu to go with the venue’s new look and feel, with the focus on seasonal, quality Australian ingredients.
