Bankstown Sports Group is slated to launch Sydney’s largest rooftop bar in the heart of Bankstown.

Lady Banks will be located in the newly developed Flinders centre and opens its doors this summer on the 14 October.

“Lady Banks Rooftop Bar is the pièce de résistance of The Flinders Centre and leads the charge in changing the face of Bankstown into a truly desirable destination,” says Bankstown Sports Group CEO Mark Condi.

Venue Manager Francesco Motta will be teaming up with Head Chef Sarah Hanslow and Bar manager Iris Boci to deliver a unique food and wine offering.

“Gin holds a special place at Lady Banks Rooftop Bar,” says Motta. “In the spirit of collaborating with the best, we have partnered with Sydney’s premier producer Archie Rose Distilling Co. As well as stocking their full range, and with Archie Rose’s help, we also distil our own gin.

“Our botanicals are carefully selected by our team and crafted by the best distilling skills available in the country.”

The bar’s signature cocktail, Lady Banks, champions a unique Ink gin from Husk Distillery that is produced near Kingscliff, New South Wales.

A contemporary Middle Eastern-inspired menu offer dishes made to share, such as a Mezze board which sees hummus, baba ghanoush and falafel paired with flatbread.

In addition, Lady Banks will be serving up their 1.3kg Tomahawk Steak cooked over coals and served with Chermoula Morrocan spices as well as a selection of sides.

Guests can also expect authentic woodfired pizzas and fresh local seafood presented in a variety of styles.

Lady Banks opens Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from midday to 10pm.

On Fridays and Saturdays the venue will operate from Midday until 2am.
