Sydney’s latest takeaway burger offering, Smashed Burger, is opening on 14 March, located on Cowper Wharf Roadway, opposite Harry’s caf de Wheels in Woolloomooloo.
The burgers will be all about the meat, which is slow roasted for 12 hours, then ‘smashed’ onto a flat-top griddle to enhance its natural flavour.
The menu will include the Beef Smash – the classic corner shop burger consisting of beef brisket, beetroot, lettuce, tomato, bacon, Swiss cheese with smashed aioli mustard. The menu also features pork, chicken and lamb options including:
- Pork Smash – pork, Asian slaw, pineapple, apple relish with smashed aioli
- Chicken Smash – chicken, lettuce, tomato, crispy bacon, Swiss cheese, mayo with smashed avocado aioli
- Lamb Smash – lamb, lettuce tomato, crispy bacon with smashed yoghurt
There’s also ‘smashed bowl options, where any of the burgers can be ordered and the bun replaced with a bowl.
The beverage list will include three thick shake options: Smashed Fudge Brownie, Toffee Choc Smash and Mean Bean.
