A restaurant located in Sydney’s Hornsby was the scene of a fatal stabbing incident on 30 March, with a man killed and a woman taken to hospital.
According to SMH, the pair was dining at the Kangnam BBQ restaurant in Hornsby when a man approached them at about 9.30pm and began stabbing them with a glass bottle.
Paramedics tried to treat the 53 year old male victim, but he died at the scene. The 38 year old woman was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with stab wounds to her chest and a punctured sternum, ABC reports.
A 45 year old man has been arrested, and police have confirmed the three people involved knew each other.
Investigators believe some diners filmed parts of the incident on their mobile phones and are asking those with footage to contact police.
