After 2.5 years operating in the Australian market, the premium luxury tea brand Tavalon Australia officially launches its second brand called “The Standard Tea Company”.
The main goal for the second line is to provide quality Australian Certified Organic tea products at affordable prices via B2B channels. Tavalon managing director Matthew Youn says that there is a strong demand for Australian Certified Organic teas in the food sector and the decision to establish The Standard Tea Company was to appease the demand. We have created a line of local products that is more accessible without sacrificing the quality of gourmet teas.
The company focuses on a more generic range includes English Breakfast, Earl Grey, Masala Chai, Sencha Green, Jasmine, Peppermint, Lemongrass Ginger, Fruits Punch, Rooibos, Chamomile. Loose leaf teas are priced at an average of $0.11 per serving and Pyramid Tea bags are priced at an average of $0.30 per tea bag.
