Straight to the Source (STTS) are set to host a ‘slow food’ workshop and lunch in Sunshine West, Victoria, on 26 June.
The event has been curated for hospitality professionals and will see STTS’s Tawnya Bahr and Lucy Allon team up with three experts to encourage attendees to think about provenance.
The day will commence with Richard Seymour from Mount Zero Olives, who will cover everything from the brand’s pink lake salt to pulses, grains, olives and olive oils.
Fermentation expert Sharon Flynn from The Fermentary will host a workshop that will cover the basics with attendees and Western Plains Pork Farmer Judy Croagh will discuss the importance of knowing where your food comes from.
The event will conclude with an outdoor lunch that will see attendees enjoy a whole pig and plenty of local produce.
There is no cost to attend, just click this link to express interest and eligible attendees will receive a confirmation email by 11 June.
