Lume Restaurant co-owner and chef Shaun Quade has been added to the line-up for Hospitality magazine’s Restaurant Leaders Summit to be held on 30 July at the Park Hyatt Hotel, Melbourne

There’s a limited amount of time left to secure tickets for the unmissable industry event.

Quade joins the mental health and wellbeing panel alongside TV presenter and journalist Melissa Leong; Lune Croissanterie’s Kate Reid and R U OK? ambassador and Food for Thought founder Mal Meiers.

The chef opened Lume at the age of 32 after working in some of Australia’s best kitchens including Quay, Biota, Urbane and Royal Mail.

Quade is looking forward to discussing the proactive strategies Lume has in place as restaurant owners, managers and chefs to help support people experiencing mental health issues. Quade believes the issue gets a lot of media coverage, but the industry hasn’t quite taken the next stop forward and started taking definitive action.

There’s less than two weeks left to buy your ticket to the Restaurant Leaders Summit.

The event will host more than 30 industry icons including Chris Lucas (The Lucas Group), Monica Brown (Lotus Communications), Frank Camorra (MoVida),  Scott Pickett (Saint Crispin, Estelle), Shannon Martinez (Smith & Daughters), Victor Liong (Lee Ho Fook), Jonno Forbes (Dinner by Heston) and Jeanine Bribosia (The Cru), to name a few.
