After 1,000 people attended the first Senasian warehouse party, MOJO by Luke Mangan is hosting another Asian-inspired food market, with a new pool of up-and-coming industry members.
Senasian stemmed from Luke Mangan wanting to showcase how Australian produce is being applied to Asian cuisine by providing a platform to not only showcase his key team members but a new pool of up-and-coming talents within hospitality’s desserts sector.
Mangan’s Waterloo warehouse will be transformed into an Asian street food extravaganza, with participating brands including gelato connoisseurs N2 gelato, watermelon cake legends, Blackstar Pastry, 17 year old Instagram sensation Sweet High Desserts, Instagram dessert cake king – Cakes by Cliff and local Newtown dessert makers, MAKMAK Macarons and Pop-Shop Sydney.
On the night, Mangan and MOJO’s head chef Wayne Lee will be producing a mash-ups of mini hot dogs with kim chi, “salt ‘n’ pepa” prawns, Peking duck rolls, Taiwanese fried chicken as well as Singapore Slings cocktails and Asahi beer for a full day warehouse party.
"Our events at MOJO are not only about having a really great time – but I’m hoping they will so inspire, raise the bar and open doors for up and coming talent in the dessert industry… it’s amazing to bring together such a diverse yet talented group from all around Sydney,” said Mangan.
