Registrations are now open for the 2018 Court of Master Sommeliers Australian programme.
The Court of Master Sommeliers will offer Introductory, Certified and Advanced certification to students in Australia in 2018.
The intensive education and examination programme guides aspiring Masters through four rigorous levels of coursework and examination, culminating in the Master Sommelier Diploma Examination.
Since 2008, more than 1000 Australian students have participated in the examinations resulting in 620 Introductory Sommelier graduates, 273 Certified Sommelier graduates, 31 Advanced Level Master Sommeliers and five who have attained the title of Master Sommelier: Franck Moreau MS (Merivale), Sebastian Crowther MS (Rockpool Dining Group), Benjamin Hasko MS (Luxury Beverage Group), Adrian Filiuta (Merivale) and Jonathan Ross (The Lucas Group).
“This is the first time that The Court of Master Sommeliers will be offering Introductory, Certified and Advanced certification within the same twelve-month period in Australia,” says Hasko MS.
“It’s fantastic to see the high demand for professional certification in Australia with over 1000 students having undertaken CMS certification over the past 10 years”.
