Sydney’s newest food precinct has made its grand debut, with the first round of restaurants open for business.

Located on Barker Street in Randwick, Newmarket Dining features a range of venues from upmarket eateries to casual cafes.

Baccomatto Osteria is back after closing their Surry Hills location last year, with handmade pasta and their signature ragu making a return.

RaRa ramen has expanded from their Redfern HQ and opened a second Sydney store at Newmarket. Diners can look forward to the same hand-made noodles in a space reminiscent of Tokyo.

Healthy eatery Cali Press has also joined the precinct, offering up cold-pressed juices and salad bowls, alongside Cafe McKenzie which combines a Middle Eastern-inspired menu with specialty coffee.

There are still a number of venues yet to launch at Newmarket, with new additions to be released in March.

It’s safe to say food precincts are dominating the Sydney dining scene, so what’s all the fuss about?
