British-themed pub, Pig ‘N’ Whistle has been announced as the latest addition to the new Town Square, Redbank Plains, development in south east Queensland. This will be the seventh Pig ‘N’ Whistle offering by Mantle Group.

The new venue will offer an authentic and comfortable space, incorporating an English conservatory concept with lofty ceilings, glass surrounds, sculptured gardens and topiary lined dining areas.

The pub will also feature an outdoor courtyard, indoor/outdoor dining area, private function areas, an extensive range of craft beer and wine on tap and a temperature controlled wine cellar.

Pig ‘N’ Whistle Redbank Plains will offer a traditional menu focussing on locally sourced ingredients in keeping with Mantle Group’s commitment to the ‘paddock to plate’ ethos. In a Pig ‘N’ Whistle first, the kitchen will have a coal spit roast, which will showcase a variety of local produce.

“We’ve seen a strong demand for a large format casual dining venue like Pig ‘N’ Whistle,” said Warren Cant, principal at WCP Retail Property Consultants.

“Redbank Plains residents want to dine out and have a good time, without needing to travel too far. The pub will be a new offering in the area with quality dining, craft beer and a lively atmosphere. We believe Pig ‘N’ Whistle will be great for the Ipswich community,” said Arj Rupesinghe, CEO of Mantle Group.

Other Pig ‘N’ Whistle locations include Indooroopilly, Riverside, Queen Street Mall, Brunswick Street, King George Square and West End.
