There’s no doubt The Rocks in Sydney has had a resurgence of sorts over the past year, with the area now home to some of the city’s busiest bars and restaurants.

And now, there are a few more options to add to the list, with George Street Food Gallery launching opposite the MCA.

The outdoor dining precinct goes live on 6 December and will see Junda Khoo’s Ho Jiak, Palisa Anderson’s Love Child, and Diego Luna’s Los Fridos pop-up for a limited time.

Ho Jiak is set to serve satay chicken spring rolls, seafood laksa, and char kway teow, while Los Fridos will bring Mexican dishes to the CBD covering chilaquiles; flautas; and tamales.

Chat Thai’s Palisa Anderson has developed a new concept for the gallery which combines culinary influences from Vietnam and Thailand to China and Korea.

Anderson has put together a menu of satay pork skewers, a cold noodle bowl with prawn cake, beef betel leaf kofta, and coconut chicken rice, to name a few options.

George Street Food Gallery is open from tomorrow, with an official end date yet to be announced.
