Housed onsite at the Oaks on Market hotel, boutique beer and wine bar, Oak & Vine has opened in Melbourne.

Paying homage to the food and beverage supplier in the region, Oak & Vine aims to celebrate small batch, home-grown, family run producers, offering a communal dining approach and paddock to plate philosophy.

A la carte and tapas menus are on offer with signature dishes including American-style pork ribs, Korean fried chicken, po boy sandwiches, potato skins with pork belly and black pepper soft shell crab tacos.

The beverage offering includes craft beers on tap, premium wines from local wineries and a range of cocktails including the Dame Edna Daiquiri and the St Kilda Sour.

The site, boasting wood, steel and glass accents, offers a formal dining section as well as bar seating and a new alfresco ‘wintergarden’ concept which has the potential to be used as an events space.
