The renowned mezcal and Mexican bar is set to launch its first Australian outpost at Crown Melbourne later this month.
Ghost Donkey Bar is known for its authentic Mexican offering, with venues in New York, Las Vegas, Denver, Phoenix, and New Zealand.
There will be over 35 mezcals and tequilas on the Ghost Donkey Bar menu which will be served in a traditional style in hand-made copitas and shot glasses.
Guests can also order the bar’s namesake cocktail the El Burro Fantasma which features Pelotón de la Muerte mezcal, Aperol, agave, lime, pink grapefruit, and chilli served in a ceramic donkey cup.
The food offering will also champion Mexican flavours and ingredients with all the favourites including tacos, nachos, guacamole, and salsas.
Guests can expect tacos with Baja kingfish, ponzou, and avocado; plus another option featuring Oaxacan mole negro and jalapeno.
There will also be Sonoran hotdogs, elotes (Mexican-style corn on the cob), and of course, churros to cater for those looking for something sweet.

Ghost Donkey Bar will open at Crown Melbourne on Friday 20 October.
