The large upstairs area at Beach Road Hotel in Bondi has undergone an extensive renovation and will later this month welcome a new food offering.
Design firm Luchetti Krelle has recently completed the transformation of the space, which comprises two bars known as The Valley.
The bars now have a more relaxed, urban beach bar atmosphere, with added colour, polished concrete floors, timber panelling, greenery, cane furniture and leather banquettes.
The east side of the bar area offers midweek and weekend live music, while the west side is a more refined setting with an eatery and cocktail lounge, white tiled bar tops and leather lounges.
From 25 May, Sarah and James Robbins, the team behind Bar Luca and BL Burgers will take over the upstairs kitchen, operating it as BL Burgers Beach Road. Burger options include classic cheese; chicken karaage; wagyu beef; and chickpea and kumera.
