A further seven venues are set to join the array of cafés, shops and restaurants already open at Darling Square.
Haven Specialty Coffee, Tea Shop Express and Auvers Café are opening their doors later this year. They will be joined by fellow food destinations Hello Auntie, Tan Viet Noodle House, Jackpot Hotpot, and Hakata-Maru Ramen.
Originally a small specialty coffee shop, Haven Specialty Coffee’s Darling Square iteration also offers a unique Asian inspired breakfast and brunch menu.
French-inspired Auver’s Café will embrace a European influence, while owners Leo Rong and Ron Chen bring modern Australian cuisine with an Asian fusion to the Square complete with coffee, bespoke cocktails and an enviable selection of wine.
Marrickville legends Hello Auntie will bring their ‘new school’ Vietnamese concept to the precinct, including their banh xeo, a crispy coconut turmeric crepe.
Tan Viet Noodle House will meld the best of Chinese and Vietnamese culture and flavours. And Japan’s Hakata-Maru Ramen will dish up authentic Hakata-style tonkotsu ramen, keeping it simple with broth, noodles and a selection of toppings.
