Sydney restaurant Monopole is showcasing female winemakers throughout the month of March.

Producers from Australia and France will take over the venue’s by-the-glass list, with wine from makers including Anna Pooley (Pooley Wines), Sarah Crowe (Yarra Yerring) and Sophie Estevenin (Domaine du Marcoux) appearing on the menu.

“We are trying to do our small bit to celebrate these fantastic producers of the industry,” says Head Sommelier Zoe Brunton.

“We want the people of Sydney to come to Monopole to try as many wines by the glass as possible during March.”

The list covers sparkling, white, skin contact, rose and red, with more than 27 options available from 120ml pours to 375ml.

Three limited-edition wines are also on offer in 50ml or 100ml serves, covering Anne Ganevat Poulprix Gamay (Jura, France), Domaine de Marcoux Roussanne (Chateauneuf-du-Pape, France) and Dom. Roche Aux Moines Savennieres (Loire Valley, France).
