Merivale has announced the appointment of Jason Roberson as head chef – ivy functions.

Roberson joins Merivale from The Grounds of Alexandria where he held the position of head chef since October 2014. As head chef, Roberson led all food operations for the property, including catering and events.

Roberson has also worked at venues such as London’s Michelin-starred The Ivy, QT Hotel Canberra and Sydney, The Winery, Gazebo Wine Garden, Bungalow 8 and Wildfire.

Richard Purdue, group executive chef – events, said “We are thrilled to welcome Jason to ivy’s culinary team. With his vast experience across many kitchens and cuisines, coupled with an infectious passion, we look forward to the growth of our ivy functions team under Jason’s leadership.”
