Melbourne Food & Wine Festival will return in 2021 with a new expanded format.

The program will see a range of culinary experiences held from March until spring across Melbourne and regional Victoria, which will have a dedicated festival for the first time.

“We’re thrilled to join in the roaring recovery of the city with a full calendar of great Melbourne Food & Wine Festival events,” says Anthea Loucas Bosha, CEO of Food + Drink Victoria.

The World’s Longest Lunch kicks off the 2021 festivities on 12 March, with Stephanie Alexander, Philippe Mouchel and Jacques Reymond coming together for the outdoor event in the Treasury Gardens.

The next day, the World’s Longest Brunch will take place for the first time, with Lune Croissant’s Kate Reid combining forces with Liminal’s Nathan Toleman.

More than 50 experiences will take place in March championing local restaurants, bars and cafes including yum cha at Flower Drum; an immersive experience between Black Star Pastry and Rain Room and Westside Crawls, which will showcase the best eats in western Melbourne.
