The Sam Prince Hospitality Group (SPHG) has announced it will launch a new venue in Sydney’s CBD in late Spring.

The group, which operates INDU and two Mejico restaurants, has taken over the site previously occupied by Bridge Street Garage.

According to chief operations officer, Karen Westfield, it took over 12 months to find the right site.

“We started planning for this concept shortly after opening INDU and have been waiting patiently for the perfect space. We are so excited as the new site is overflowing with potential,” she said.

The new venue’s design will be overseen by SPHG’s in-house design team, Project Z, and diners can expect “an electric, grungy ambience.”

Further details on the restaurant’s offering will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Founded by Dr Sam Prince, SPHG also operates the Zambrero franchise, which recently opened its 150th store. Prince launched the Mexican fast casual concept when he was 21 and studying medicine. The brand’s Plate4Plate initiative sees a meal donated to someone in need in the developing world for every burrito or bowl purchased.
