The Ovolo Group Australia have recruited Andrea Gualdi as their newly appointed creative beverage director.
Gualdi was the co-founder and creative director for the Maybe group who are known for their acclaimed Sydney venue, Maybe Sammy.
“I’m super excited to join The Ovolo Group which has partnered with some of Australia’s most recognised talent in the Food & Beverage industry,” says Gualdi.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to the growth of the Ovolo portfolio, as well as bringing some of my personal touch to these unique venues.”
During his time at Maybe, Gualdi received numerous accolades including Top 10 International Bartender of the Year in 2020, Australian Bar Team of the Year in 2019 and Australian Bartender of the Year in 2017.
Ovolo have recently recruited Chef Ian Curley as culinary partner who will be working alongside Gualdi to expand the group’s food and beverage program.
