Manly Greenhouse will officially open its doors on Friday 7 September after an extensive renovation.

The venue will open in two stages, with the street-level Greenhouse and Rooftop bar launching first and The Grill restaurant set to open in October.

Greg Anderson and Patricia Nunes have been spearheading the renovation of the former Shore Club which will now cover three levels.

“We believe now is the time to breathe new life and hospitality into one of Sydney’s best beach fronts,” says Anderson. “After much anticipation, we’re excited to open our doors to the Greenhouse and Rooftop.”

The street-level Greenhouse will offer casual Italian fare by chef Colm Kennedy including arancini and Ortiz sardines. Mains include whole snapper, Riverina Sirloin, pappardelle with slow-cooked brisket and wood-fired pizzas. Dessert options cover tiramisu and salted caramel sundae along with a lemon tart.

Aperol spritz, Bulletproof espresso martinis and a selection of beers and wines will be available by the tap. An extensive wine list will showcase Australian and Italian varieties.

Situated on the top floor is the Rooftop that will offer bar snacks and a range of drink options.

Dishes include salt and pepper school prawns with garlic aioli, a selection of cured meats including LP’s mortadella and Blackmore Wagyu beef bresaola and polenta bites with soured cream and chives. Toasted sandwiches will also be on offer.
