Following its successful inaugural year in 2015, the Maggie Beer Foundation will once again be running its Creating An Appetite For Life program, and for the first time it will be available to chefs nationwide.

Originally only available to foodservice operators in Victoria, the 2016 program will run over two days providing inspiration and advice for chefs and cooks on how to create nutritious, full flavoured, low cost meals for the aged care sector.

Maggie Beer along with Peter Morgan Jones, executive chef and food ambassador from HammondCare, and a range of industry experts will lead the day workshop, which will take place at the Sydney Seafood School.

The program will aim to promote fresh thinking and group brainstorming around nutritious ingredients, food budgeting, supplier relationships, aged care specific recipes, menus and dining room management.

The program will be running on Monday 21 and Tuesday 22 March, 2016. Only 30 places are available for the program. For more information, click here.
