Kylie Kwong has confirmed she will be returning to the Sydney dining scene next year.
Kwong will open a venue in South Eveleigh and work closely with Clarence Slockee and Christian Hampson from the Yerrabingin rooftop garden.
The Billy Kwong restaurateur is an ambassador for the precinct and will showcase ingredients grown on the rooftop at her yet-to-be-named venue.
The chef says the new outlet will be a daytime operation that will echo the same values of Billy Kwong, which closed its doors after almost two decades in business.
Gourmet Traveller reports the menu will hero collaboration, with chefs including Saint Peter’s Josh Niland and Chat Thai’s Palisa Anderson working closely with Kwong.
The new venue is slated to open in late 2020.
