The Evergreen is the latest venue to join Chatswood’s dining landscape on Sydney’s North Shore.
Located in The Mix food precinct, the eatery has rolled out a Korean-Australian-inspired menu put together by Head Chef Jun Hwang and Maureen Er and Callam Spelman, who round out the kitchen team.
The venue opens from 11am daily with a lunch menu available until 3pm.
Small share plates cover kimchi arancini with gochujang mayo; makgeolli chicken wings; and tuna ceviche with coriander, onion, and bonito vinaigrette.
There are three burger options listed covering fried chicken, bulgogi beef, and prawn, with other larger dishes including Korean-style gnocchi, bulgogi beef noodle salad and a boneless chicken platter with waffle fries and pickles.
The Evergreen shifts into dinner service from 5pm, with some additions to the menu such as grilled octopus with tomatoes, pickled onion, and chilli as well as a BBQ flatter with Wagyu, pork belly, chicken, mushrooms, corn, sauces, and ssam.
All-day cocktails cover all the classics with a twist including a kimchi margarita, a mandarin highball, and a soju sour.
There’s also a selection of local and international wines and beers plus non-alcoholic options.
The Evergreen is open seven days.
